Prestige thank-you vouchers - product details
Prestige thank-you vouchers - Prestige vouchers and thank-you cards are elegant pieces printed on decorative papers with a distinct character: pearlescent, metallic, felt-marked, ribbed and textured. Here the paper is what creates the final effect, so we use no extra lamination. A6, DL, 100×100 mm and 150×150 mm formats are available, with single or double-sided printing. You can check the current price for the paper, format and run you want straight away in the calculator.
A gift voucher, an invitation or a small card added to a parcel does not have to look like ordinary advertising print. In the Prestige version, instead of classic coated stock we use papers with a colour, texture, sheen or metallic surface of their own. Even a simple design can gain a more individual, distinguished character that way.
Materials like these suit beauty salons, spas, hotels, restaurants, photographers, jewellers, boutiques, wedding brands, florists, art studios and companies offering more distinguished services. They work especially well where the card is handed to the customer in person or forms part of carefully prepared packaging.
Formats matched to the use
Four formats are available:
- A6 105×148 mm - the versatile size for a voucher, a gift card, an invitation, a discount card or a thank-you for a parcel. It gives room for a logo, artwork, short text, a QR code, a voucher number and the basic terms of a promotion.
- DL 99×210 mm - a slim, elongated format that fits a DL envelope well. It works as a gift voucher, a gift certificate, an invitation, a VIP card or a services card, especially in the beauty, hotel, food service and wedding trades.
- 100×100 mm - a small square card for a thank-you in a parcel, a note with an order or a packaging insert. It suits cosmetics, jewellery, candles, handmade goods and small products.
- 150×150 mm - a larger square giving more room for a decorative design. You can use it for a thank-you, a voucher, an invitation or an occasional card, especially in a minimalist, wedding or boutique style.
It is worth matching the format not only to the amount of content but also to the way it is handed over. A voucher slipped into an envelope needs a different size from a small card added to an order.
Decorative papers - they give the character
In this category the paper plays the main part. The families differ in shade, structure and the way they reflect light. You will find the full, current list of versions and weights in the calculator.
ICEBLINK
A cream paper with a delicate linen-like structure. It has a calm, warm character and goes well with classic and subtle designs.
It suits vouchers, invitations, thank-yous, wedding and hotel materials and handmade products.
STARDREAM
The family of pearlescent and metallic papers:
- OPAL - a light paper with a pearl sheen,
- SILVER - a cool, metallic surface,
- CRYSTAL - a light, clean metallic,
- GOLD - a more decorative, ceremonial version.
STARDREAM works well on gift vouchers, VIP cards, invitations and other designs where the sheen of the paper is meant to be a clear part of the whole composition.
RIVES Shetland Natural
A paper with a natural look and a texture you can feel. The versions available differ in weight, so you can choose a lighter card or a stiffer voucher or gift certificate.
It suits designs where you want an elegant effect without a metallic sheen.
DALI
Papers with a distinctive structure of fine ribs. They come in several shades, from warmer and light through cool grey to a deeper green.
DALI goes well with classic, decorative and boutique designs where the texture of the paper should stay visible.
MODIGLIANI
Papers with a soft, felt-marked structure in several colour versions. They give the card a more artistic, individual look.
They work on vouchers, invitations, product cards and elegant thank-yous.
CHAGALL
A white paper with a subtle felt-marked surface. The light stock is fairly versatile, and the texture you can feel sets it apart from ordinary smooth coated paper.
It suits vouchers, gift cards, invitations and thank-yous.
If you are not sure which family to choose, start from the effect you want. STARDREAM gives a pearl or metallic sheen, ICEBLINK a linen structure, RIVES a more natural look, DALI ribs, and MODIGLIANI and CHAGALL a felt-marked surface.
Why we use no film
We do not laminate Prestige vouchers and thank-you cards.
The papers in this category have a structure, sheen, pearl quality or metallic surface of their own. An extra layer of film would change their look and, above all, the way the paper feels in the hand.
On felt-marked and ribbed papers, film would cover the natural structure. On metallic ones it would affect their characteristic way of reflecting light.
So in this category the paper itself serves as the decorative finish.
Single or double-sided printing
There are two printing options:
- Single-sided - good on simple, minimalist designs where the logo, a short message, the typography and the look of the paper itself matter most.
- Double-sided - worth choosing when you need more room. The front can carry the main artwork and the logo, and the back the terms for using the voucher, a discount code, the card number, contact details, a QR code or a short message for the customer.
The second side lets you keep a calm, sparing design at the front without giving up the information you need.
What you can use Prestige vouchers for
Cards from this category can serve many purposes:
- gift vouchers and gift certificates,
- gift cards,
- VIP cards and discount cards,
- cards for regular customers,
- invitations and occasional cards,
- elegant thank-yous for parcels,
- notes with orders,
- inserts for packaging and gift sets,
- product cards,
- certificates,
- service cards,
- material with a QR code or a discount code.
A card like this can accompany jewellery, cosmetics, gifts, handmade products or wedding sets. You can put a short thank-you, a request for a review, a website address, social media, a discount code or a QR code on it.
File preparation - three options
When you place the order you choose one of three ways of preparing the design:
- No file check - for agencies, designers and anyone confident the file is technically correct. The design goes straight into production.
- File check by a designer - we check the format, bleed, safe distances from the cutting line, image quality, colours and how the file was saved. The check does not cover the content, such as typos, prices, voucher numbers, discount codes or terms. The customer is responsible for their accuracy.
- Simple graphic design - if you have no file ready, send us the text, your logo, photographs and your basic guidelines. We will prepare a simple design matched to the format and the character of the paper you chose.
The technical check is particularly useful for designs prepared in Canva, online generators or with AI tools. Files like these can have problems with the bleed, the format, the quality of the artwork or embedded fonts.
How to prepare the file for print
A PDF prepared to our specification is best. In selected cases we also accept good quality JPG and PNG files.
Photographs and artwork should be at 300 dpi at 1:1 scale, and the design prepared in CMYK.
If artwork or a background runs to the edge, add the right amount of bleed. Move text, logos, QR codes, voucher numbers and other important information away from the cutting line.
With decorative papers you also have to allow for the character of the stock. Cream, grey, green, gold, silver and pearlescent papers affect how the printed colours are perceived, so they can look different than on white coated stock.
On felt-marked and ribbed papers it is better to avoid very small text and thin lines. On metallic stocks, simpler designs with clear contrast work well.
Discount codes, voucher numbers, expiry dates and QR codes should stay easy to read. It is best to check the QR code before sending the design, to be sure it leads to the right place.
The price depends on the format, paper, run size and printing you choose. You will find all the options and the current quote in the online calculator.
If you need something simpler on a classic stock, take a look at the standard vouchers and thank-you cards. An EKO version printed on natural papers is available too.

What are Prestige vouchers and thank-you cards?
They are cards printed on decorative papers with a distinctive surface. Depending on the version chosen they can have a pearl sheen, a metallic effect, a linen structure, delicate ribs or a felt-marked texture. They work as vouchers, gift cards, invitations, thank-yous and image-building material.
How do they differ from standard vouchers?
Standard vouchers are usually made on coated papers or classic boards. We print the Prestige version on decorative papers that have a colour, texture and often a sheen of their own. The stock itself is therefore an important part of how the finished card looks.
Can Prestige vouchers be laminated?
No. In this category we deliberately use no film. The paper has a structure, pearl quality or metallic surface of its own, and an extra coating would change its look and feel. So here the decorative effect comes from the paper itself.
Can I order double-sided printing?
Yes. Single-sided and double-sided printing are both available. In the double-sided version the front can carry the main artwork and the logo, and the back the terms for using the voucher, a discount code, contact details, a QR code or a short message.
Which Prestige voucher format should I choose?
For classic vouchers, DL and A6 work well. DL has a slim shape and fits an envelope, while A6 is more versatile. The 150×150 mm format suits more decorative designs, and 100×100 mm small thank-yous, notes and parcel inserts.
Which format should I choose for a premium thank-you in a parcel?
100×100 mm, A6 or 150×150 mm are all good choices. The 100×100 mm format is small and practical, A6 gives more room for text or a discount code, and 150×150 mm gives a larger surface for a more decorative design.
Which Prestige paper should I choose for a gift voucher?
The STARDREAM papers work well, including pearlescent OPAL and metallic CRYSTAL and GOLD, as do RIVES Shetland Natural, ICEBLINK, CHAGALL Bianco and the DALI and MODIGLIANI versions. The choice depends on whether the design should be more classic, natural, pearlescent, textured or metallic.
Which paper should I choose for an elegant thank-you?
ICEBLINK, RIVES, CHAGALL, MODIGLIANI and DALI all suit thank-yous. If you want a pearl or metallic effect, you can choose STARDREAM OPAL, SILVER, CRYSTAL or GOLD.
Are metallic papers suitable for every design?
Not always. They go best with simple, legible designs with good contrast. They work especially well on jewellery, beauty, hotel, event and more representative material. With a lot of small text or very delicate photographs, another stock may be the better answer.
Do colours on Prestige papers look the same as on white coated stock?
No. The paper has a shade, a texture and often a sheen of its own, so it affects how the print is perceived. Cream, beige, grey, green, gold, silver and pearlescent stocks can change the look of the printed colours. The design is best prepared with the particular paper in mind.
Is small text easy to read on textured papers?
Not always as easy as on smooth coated stock. On felt-marked, ribbed and other strongly textured papers it is worth using a legible typeface, a suitable size and good contrast. Voucher numbers, discount codes and expiry dates should be especially clear.
Can I put a QR code on the voucher?
Yes. A QR code can go on a voucher or a thank-you card. It should be a suitable size, contrast clearly with the stock and sit a safe distance from the edge. Before sending the design, check that the code scans properly and leads to the right address.
Can I put a voucher number or a discount code on it?
Yes. The design can carry a voucher number, a discount code, an expiry date, the terms of use or extra information for the customer. The technical check, however, does not cover whether those numbers, codes or dates are correct.
Does the file check cover the content?
No. The check by a designer is about the technical preparation of the design for print. We do not check typos, prices, voucher numbers, discount codes, expiry dates, terms or whether the content matches your offer. The customer is responsible for their accuracy.
Which file format is best for print?
A PDF prepared to the technical specification for the format you chose is best. In selected cases we also accept good quality JPG or PNG files. Photographs and artwork should be at 300 dpi at 1:1 scale, the design should be prepared in CMYK and it should allow for the right bleed.
