Triangular table presenters - product details
Triangular table presenters - Triangular table talkers are standing advertising pieces in the form of a triangular stand, often called a toblerone. They have three visible surfaces, so the message can be seen from several directions at once. They work on tables, counters and reception desks in restaurants, cafés, hotels, bars and service points. Three formats are available, Arktika GC1 300 gsm board, single-sided printing and lamination as standard: gloss, matte or soft touch. The price of the configuration you choose appears straight away in the calculator above.
A small stand placed right in front of a customer can be more noticeable than an advertisement a few metres away. A triangular table talker is made from one sheet of board which, once folded and glued, forms an upright structure with three visible faces.
The offer, the QR code or a short note therefore stays in view no matter which side the customer approaches the table or counter from.
Table talkers work wherever the viewer has a moment to read a short message: in a restaurant, café, bar, hotel, beauty salon, clinic, showroom, shop, customer service office or at reception. They can also be used at conferences, trade fairs and events.
What you can use triangular table talkers for
Three surfaces give more scope than a classic two-sided stand. You can use each face for a different message or repeat the same design so it is clearly visible from any side.
The most common uses are:
- A table number or a small table card - a reservation number, a lunch menu, a cocktail, dessert or wine list in a small standing form.
- A promotion or special offer - the dish of the day, a set lunch, a seasonal coffee, the cocktail of the month, happy hours, a weekend promotion or an invitation to an event.
- A QR code to hand - leading to the menu online, bookings, ordering, Google reviews, the guest panel or a loyalty scheme.
- Hotel and service information - breakfast hours, the spa, room service, the hotel restaurant, a short price list for a salon, treatment packages or a new service.
In food service the table talker can promote the dish of the day, the wine list, desserts or a weekend brunch. In a hotel it can tell guests about breakfast, wellness, room service or the services available behind a QR code. In a service salon it can show the promotion of the month, a referral scheme or online booking. On a sales display you can use it to present a new item, a discount or a particular product.
Which format to choose
There are three sizes. The 3× marking tells you the table talker has three advertising surfaces. You can design each of them separately while keeping a shared style.
- Triangular small - 3×99×148 mm - a compact format for short messages. It works well with QR codes, promotions, social media, an invitation to leave a Google review, or a small cocktail or dessert list. It suits small tables, counters and reception desks.
- Triangular medium - 3×99×210 mm - a slim version giving more room for content. You can use it for a seasonal menu, a drinks list, the lunch offer, a hotel notice or a QR code with a short description.
- Triangular large - 3×120×297 mm - the largest and most visible version. It gives more room for photographs, artwork and fuller messages. It works on special offers, hotel materials and information that has to be legible from further away.
It is best to match the format to the amount of content and the place it will stand. For a short message and a QR code the smaller version is usually enough. If you are planning a larger photograph and more information, the large table talker will be more convenient.
Arktika GC1 300 gsm board
We make triangular table talkers from one kind of board:
- Arktika GC1 300 gsm board - a stiff, attractive material that holds the shape of the table talker well once folded.
The right stiffness matters here, because the finished stand should sit steadily on a table, counter or reception desk. Arktika GC1 300 gsm gives a tidy, solid form that looks more distinguished than a loose sheet or a leaflet.
The board suits advertising and information materials used in restaurants, hotels, cafés, bars, service salons, receptions and points of sale.
Printing and finishing
The table talker has single-sided printing in full CMYK colour on the three surfaces visible once it is folded.
On each face you can put photographs, artwork, a logo, text, prices, icons, QR codes and other elements of your visual identity.
There are two approaches. The same design can be repeated on all three surfaces, so the message is visible from every direction. Or you can prepare three different but consistent messages. What matters is that each side reads on its own, even when the customer sees only that one.
Lamination is a standard part of the finish. There are three types of film to choose from:
- Gloss lamination - strengthens colours and contrast, giving the design a bolder character. It goes well with product photographs, vivid artwork, colourful backgrounds and adverts for drinks, desserts or events.
- Matte lamination - gives a calmer, elegant, professional look. It suits restaurants, hotels, cafés, receptions and salons with a more restrained style.
- Soft-touch lamination - gives a soft surface that is pleasant to the touch. It works on more representative pieces for boutique hotels, restaurants, spas, beauty salons and clinics.
The table talker is a working item. It may be moved and handled many times and stay on display for a long while. On more elegant designs, matte or soft-touch film is worth considering. You will find the exact prices for each version in the calculator above.
How to plan the three surfaces
Each face is best treated as a separate, small message. Too much text will be hard to read quickly, so short headlines, clearly visible prices, simple artwork and a legible QR code work better.
A sample split might look like this:
- Side 1 - the main promotion or offer.
- Side 2 - a QR code leading to the menu, bookings or reviews.
- Side 3 - extra information, social media or a second language version.
If the table talker stands on a counter, a reception desk, a buffet or a conference table and customers come at it from different directions, repeating the same main message on all three surfaces can be a good answer.
File check and graphic design
When you place the order you choose one of the file preparation options:
- No file check - for agencies, designers and anyone confident the design is technically correct. The file goes into production without further control.
- File check by a designer - we check the format, bleed, safe distances, image quality, colours and how the file was saved. On a triangular table talker we also check the layout of all three surfaces, the folding and creasing lines, the orientation of the design, whether important content is set back from the edges and the folds, and correct preparation for single-sided printing.
- Simple graphic design - if you have no artwork ready, send us your logo, the text, the offer, prices, contact details, a QR code, photographs and your basic guidelines on style. We will prepare a simple design matched to the format, board, printing and finish you chose.
The technical check is worth choosing especially if the design was made in Canva, an online generator, an office program, a presentation app or with AI tools. Files like these can look correct on screen and still need adjusting to the right format, the bleed, the fold lines, CMYK or the safe margins.
The check does not cover the content. We do not check typos, prices, numbers, discount codes, dates, terms, contact details, whether the QR codes work, or whether the information matches your offer or the regulations. The customer is responsible for the content.
How to prepare the file for print
- File format - a PDF that follows our specification is best. We also accept good quality JPG and PNG files.
- Resolution and colours - photographs and artwork should be at 300 dpi at 1:1 scale. Prepare the design in CMYK.
- Bleed and margins - if artwork runs to the edge, add the right amount of bleed. Move the logo, text, prices, QR code, contact details and other important elements away both from the edges and from the fold lines.
- Specification and template - use the right product specification or template. The design has to allow for the three advertising surfaces, the direction they face, the crease lines, the folds and how the finished table talker will look once glued and standing.
- Legibility from a distance - use clear headlines, short text and legible prices. The QR code should be a suitable size and contrast well with the background. If there is a lot of information, split it between the three surfaces or move some of the detail to the page behind the code.
- Checking the content - before sending the file, review the prices, the dates of promotions, whether the QR codes work, the contact details and the website address. Our site also has a section on preparing a design and on the mistakes made most often.

Need help? Contact us
What are triangular table talkers?
They are standing advertising and information pieces with three visible surfaces. Folded and glued, they form an upright triangular stand, also called a toblerone. You can place one on a table, a counter, a reception desk or another worktop.
Which triangular table talker formats are available?
There are three formats: triangular small 3×99×148 mm, triangular medium 3×99×210 mm and triangular large 3×120×297 mm. The 3× marking means three advertising surfaces.
How do the formats differ?
The small version works well with short messages and QR codes. The medium gives more room for a menu, a promotion or a hotel notice. The large is the most visible and gives the most surface for artwork, photographs and a fuller offer.
How many advertising surfaces does a triangular table talker have?
Three. You can use the same message on all of them or prepare three different but stylistically consistent designs. You plan each face as a separate advertising surface.
Which paper are triangular table talkers printed on?
We make the table talkers from Arktika GC1 300 gsm board. It is stiff and attractive and holds its shape well once folded, so the stand sits steadily on a table, counter or reception desk.
What printing is available?
We use single-sided printing in full CMYK colour on the three surfaces visible once the table talker is folded. You can put photographs, artwork, a logo, text, prices, QR codes and other identity elements on them.
Where can triangular table talkers be used?
They work in restaurants, cafés, bars, hotels, receptions, beauty salons, clinics, points of sale, showrooms and customer service offices, and at trade fairs and events. You can use them anywhere the message should be visible from several directions.
What can go on a triangular table talker?
It can carry a logo, a seasonal or lunch menu, the promotion of the day, a special offer, a cocktail or dessert list, a QR code to the menu, bookings or Google reviews, information about the spa, room service, a loyalty scheme or an event.
Can a triangular table talker be a table menu or a table number?
Yes. It can serve as a small menu, a promotions card, a cocktail or dessert list, a lunch menu, or a table number clearly visible from several directions.
Are triangular table talkers laminated?
Yes. Lamination is a standard part of the finish. Gloss, matte or soft-touch film is available. You will find the exact prices for each version in the calculator.
Which lamination should I choose for a triangular table talker?
Gloss film strengthens colours and contrast, so it goes well with vivid artwork and photographs. Matte gives a calmer, elegant effect. Soft touch creates a soft, velvety surface and suits more representative designs.
Are triangular table talkers suitable for hotels?
Yes. You can use them at reception, in the lobby, in the hotel restaurant, in the rooms, in the spa area or in meeting rooms. They can carry breakfast hours, room service, the restaurant, extra services, or lead guests by QR code to the guest panel.
Can a QR code go on the table talker?
Yes. A QR code can go on one, two or all three surfaces. It should be large enough, high in contrast and placed somewhere convenient to scan straight from the table.
Can I prepare the design in Canva?
Yes. With a design like that, though, it is worth choosing the technical check by a designer. Files from Canva, online generators, office programs, presentation apps or AI tools may need the format, bleed, fold lines, CMYK, resolution and safe margins adjusted.
Do I have to use the product template?
Yes. With a triangular table talker it is best to prepare the design from the right specification or template. It has to allow for the three advertising surfaces, the crease lines, the direction of the fold, the bleed and the safe margins, so that everything ends up in the right place once it is glued.
Does the file check cover the content, prices and QR codes?
No. The designer checks the technical preparation of the design for print, but does not check the content, typos, prices, promotion dates, numbers, discount codes, contact details, whether the QR codes work, or whether the information matches your offer or the regulations. The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the content.
Can you prepare a simple triangular table talker design?
Yes. You can choose the simple graphic design option. Send us your logo, the content, the offer, prices, contact details, a QR code, photographs or your basic guidelines on style, and we will prepare a design matched to the format, board, printing and finish you chose.
