LIO White plastic pens

LIO White - a light barrel and ten colour versions

The LIO White has a plastic barrel and is marked with full-colour digital UV printing rather than laser engraving. That matters for the artwork: we print in CMYK, so the logo can keep its colours instead of being reduced to a single flat version as engraving would require. Gradients, shading and soft tonal transitions all survive.

The barrel stays light; the colour comes from the trim, in one of ten versions: blue, light blue, dark blue, green, red, yellow, orange, black, magenta and purple. You choose the version in the calculator.

A light body also works in your favour: colours print clearly on it and are not muted by the colour of the barrel underneath.

Dimensions and print area

The LIO White is 135 mm long and 9 mm across, which makes it the slimmest of our plastic pens. The print area is 50.0×6.0 mm.

Where the LIO White works

• People who prefer a slimmer pen - at 9 mm it is the narrowest plastic model we offer.

Full-colour UV printing

The ink is cured with UV light during printing, so the finished mark handles everyday use and contact with moisture and light, and needs no varnishing afterwards.

One side or two

In the calculator you can choose one-sided or two-sided printing. One side usually covers a logo with the company name; the second is worth taking when you also want a web address, phone number or a short slogan. Two-sided printing costs more, and needs two separate designs, one per side.

The file, the artwork and the proof

Prepare finished artwork in colour, in CMYK, at 1:1 scale, with text converted to curves.

No artwork ready? With an order placed with us we prepare it free of charge. E-mail your logo and the text that is to appear on the pen. Our designer will lay it out and send a proof for approval; production starts only once you accept it.

Quantity and ordering

The minimum order is 100 pieces, produced in multiples of 50. The price steps in the calculator are 100, 200, 300, 500, 1000 and 2000 pieces, and the unit price falls as the quantity grows.

The lead time appears in the calculator once you choose a configuration, counted from your approval of the proof. The first version of the design usually comes within 1-2 working days; each further round of changes adds one working day.
