Prestige folded flyers - Prestige folded leaflets are creased and folded material printed on decorative papers with a distinct character: pearlescent, metallic, felt-marked, ribbed and canvas-textured. In this category the paper is responsible for the final effect, so we add no lamination. Printing is always double-sided, and many formats and folding methods are available. The full list of 17 paper variants and the current price for your chosen run are in the calculator.

Prestige folded leaflets - elegance you can see and feel

Prestige folded leaflets differ from classic folders above all in the paper. Instead of smooth coated stock you can choose a substrate with the structure of fine canvas, subtle ribs, a felt-marked surface, a pearlescent sheen or a more pronounced metallic effect.

The paper therefore becomes part of the design. It affects not only the look of the material but also how it is perceived in the hand. That matters particularly for folders, invitations, vouchers or offers that should look more presentable from the outset.

Once folded, the material stays convenient to hand to a customer, ship or display. The panels let you organise a larger amount of information, and the decorative substrate gives the whole an individual character.

Prestige folded leaflets work well as sales folders, invitations, vouchers, menu cards, premium offers and brand presentations. They are used by hotels, restaurants, beauty salons, clinics, photographers, jewellers, boutiques and companies for which the presentation of material matters as much as its content.

The price for a given format, run and paper is shown directly in the calculator.

Always double-sided printing, and creasing

We print Prestige folded leaflets always double-sided, in full colour.

That lets you use every panel and lay out the content logically. The first side can serve as the cover, the next carry a description of the offer, photographs or a price list, and the last the contact details, a QR code or an additional message.

Before folding, the sheet is creased. We make an even line in the form of a controlled indentation where the fold will be, which helps fold the paper precisely afterwards.

That matters a great deal on thicker and more textured substrates, particularly in weights of 250-350 gsm. Creasing makes an even fold easier and reduces the risk of the paper surface cracking unattractively.

Decorative papers - grouped by family

In this category we use papers that give a design a decorative, more presentable look in themselves. The full, current list of 17 variants is in the calculator.

ICEBLINK cream canvas 250 gsm

A paper in a warm cream shade with a subtle structure resembling fine canvas.

It suits classic, calm designs such as invitations, hotel folders, menus or wedding material.

STARDREAM - pearlescent and metallic 285 gsm

A family of papers with a characteristic sheen and metallic effect. The variants available are:

  • OPAL - a light paper with a pearlescent sheen,
  • SILVER - a cool, metallic effect,
  • CRYSTAL - a light, refined metallic,
  • GOLD - a more decorative, celebratory variant.

STARDREAM works well for invitations, vouchers, VIP cards and other material where the sheen of the paper is to be a clear element of the design.

RIVES Shetland Natural 250 gsm and 350 gsm

A paper with a natural, elegant look and a tangible structure.

RIVES Shetland Natural 250 gsm suits elegant folders and offers.

RIVES Shetland Natural 350 gsm is noticeably stiffer, so it can be used for more presentable material, vouchers or invitations.

DALI - fine ribs 285 gsm

A paper with a decorative structure of delicate ribs. The colour variants available are:

  • perla - warm pearl,
  • candido - white,
  • camoscio - corn,
  • Ghaccio - light grey,
  • verde pino - green.

DALI goes well with classic, boutique and decorative designs. The shade of the paper can be matched to a brand's colours or to the character of a particular piece.

MODIGLIANI - felt-marked 260 gsm

A paper with a soft, felt-marked texture and a more artistic character.

It is available in several shades: from white, through warmer ecru and corn tones, to a cooler pearl. It suits elegant folders, invitations and image material.

CHAGALL Bianco felt-marked 260 gsm

A white felt-marked paper with a subtle, decorative surface. Its light colour makes it fairly versatile, while the structure clearly sets it apart from ordinary smooth coated stock.

It works for invitations, vouchers, sales folders and presentational material.

If it is hard to decide, go by the effect you want. STARDREAM gives pearlescence and a metallic look, ICEBLINK a calm canvas structure, RIVES a more natural appearance, DALI characteristic ribs, and MODIGLIANI and CHAGALL a felt-marked surface.

Why no film?

We do not laminate Prestige folded leaflets.

That is not a limitation but a deliberate feature of the category. The papers have their own structure, sheen, pearlescence or metallic surface, and exactly those properties should stay visible and perceptible.

Film would change how the paper is perceived. It could flatten a felt-marked or ribbed texture, limit the character of a metallic surface and alter the feel of the material.

So here the paper itself plays the role of finishing.

Available formats and folding methods

Prestige folded leaflets can be prepared in many variants, from small forms to extensive folders.

Compact and handy

  • A5 → A6
  • 2×A6 → A6 (landscape)
  • 30×15 → 15×15

These work well for invitations, vouchers and elegant parcel inserts.

  • A4 → DL - a slim format that suits stands and DL envelopes.

DL formats

  • 2×DL → DL (landscape)
  • 2×DL → DL (portrait)

These are elongated variants suitable for folders, vouchers and service cards.

Square and larger

  • 30×30 → 15×30

They give more freedom for menus, special offers and horizontal presentations.

Extensive

  • A3 → A4
  • A3 → 140×297
  • 2×A4 → A4 (landscape)
  • 3×A4 → A4

These are larger folders intended for menus, company presentations, offers and trade fair material.

Exact dimensions after folding and the availability of a particular paper for a given format are shown in the calculator.

What to use Prestige folded leaflets for

Prestige folded leaflets work wherever material is to serve not only an informational but also a presentational role.

They can be used as:

  • advertising folders,
  • invitations,
  • vouchers,
  • VIP cards,
  • menu cards,
  • service cards,
  • price lists,
  • premium offers,
  • event programmes,
  • certificates,
  • thank-you notes for a purchase,
  • inserts for elegant packaging.

A well-designed folder on decorative paper can be material a customer keeps for longer, particularly if besides information it also carries a useful offer, a voucher or a service card.

If you are looking for a simpler variant, look at classic folded leaflets on coated papers. Eco folded leaflets on natural papers are available too. And if you need a single, unfolded card on decorative paper, see single-sheet Prestige leaflets.

Preparing the file - three variants to choose from

When placing an order you choose one of three ways of preparing the artwork:

  • No checking - the file goes straight to print. A variant for agencies, designers and people confident that the artwork was technically prepared correctly for printing and folding.
  • Checking by a graphic designer - we check the format, bleed, safe distances from the trim and fold lines, the panel layout, the quality of graphics, the colour and the way the file is saved. The check does not cover the content, such as typos, prices or contact details. Their correctness is the customer's responsibility.
  • Simple design - if you have no finished file, send texts, a logo, photographs and basic guidance. We will prepare a simple design matched to the format, the folding method and the character of the paper chosen.

How to prepare the print file

Before starting the design, download the technical specification and the template for the chosen format. With folded folders you have to allow not only for the trimmed format and bleed but also for the fold lines, the order of the panels and the folding direction.

  • File format - best send a PDF in line with the specification. We also accept good quality JPG and PNG files.
  • Resolution and colours - photographs and graphics should be at 300 dpi at 1:1 scale, and the artwork prepared in CMYK.
  • Bleed and margins - if the background runs to the edge, add bleed. Keep texts, logos, QR codes and other important elements away from the trim line and from the crease and fold positions.
  • Allow for the paper colour - printing on cream, grey, gold, silver or pearlescent paper will look different than on white coated stock. The artwork should be prepared with the particular substrate in mind.
  • Allow for the texture - on felt-marked and ribbed papers it is better to avoid very small lettering and thin lines. On metallic substrates, simpler, legible designs with strong contrast work well.

If the artwork was made in Canva, an online generator or with AI tools, it is worth choosing checking by a graphic designer. Such files can have problems with bleed, the format, the order of panels or the way they are saved.

FAQ

Prestige folded flyers - questions and answers

Need help? Contact us

What are Prestige folded leaflets?

They are creased and folded folders printed on decorative papers. They can have a surface resembling canvas, delicate ribs, a felt-marked structure, a pearlescent sheen or a metallic effect. They work for presentational, elegant and image-led material.

How do they differ from standard folded leaflets?

Standard folded leaflets are most often printed on smooth coated papers. The Prestige version is made on decorative papers with their own texture, shade, sheen and surface character. Here it is the paper that accounts for much of the final effect.

Can Prestige folded leaflets be laminated?

No. We do not laminate in this category. Prestige papers have their own structure, sheen, pearlescence or metallic effect, and additional film would change their look and the way they feel in the hand.

Is printing single- or double-sided?

We always print Prestige folded leaflets double-sided. That lets you use all the panels and lay out the cover, a description of the offer, a menu, photographs, a price list, contact details or a QR code across them.

What is creasing and why is it used?

Creasing means making an even, controlled indentation exactly where the fold will be. It makes the paper easier to fold and matters particularly on thicker and more textured substrates.

How many decorative papers are there and which families?

17 paper variants are available from the ICEBLINK, STARDREAM, RIVES Shetland Natural, DALI, MODIGLIANI and CHAGALL Bianco families. They include canvas, pearlescent, metallic, ribbed and felt-marked papers. The full current list is in the calculator.

Which paper should I choose for an elegant folder?

For a classic, elegant folder, ICEBLINK cream canvas, RIVES Shetland Natural, CHAGALL Bianco and selected MODIGLIANI and DALI variants all suit well. If you want a more pronounced sheen or metallic effect, you can choose STARDREAM OPAL, CRYSTAL, SILVER or GOLD.

Which paper should I choose for a premium invitation or voucher?

STARDREAM GOLD, SILVER or OPAL, ICEBLINK cream canvas, CHAGALL Bianco and RIVES Shetland Natural 350 gsm all work well. The choice depends on whether the design is to be more classic, natural, pearlescent or metallic.

Do colours on Prestige papers look the same as on white coated stock?

No. Prestige papers have their own colour, texture and often a sheen as well. A cream, beige, grey, green, silver, gold or pearlescent substrate affects how the print reads, so the artwork is best prepared with a particular paper in mind.

Is small text clearly visible on textured papers?

Not always. On felt-marked and ribbed papers, very small text and thin lines can be less legible than on smooth stock. It is better to use clear typography, suitable contrast, and to keep important information away from the folds.

Which format should I choose for an advertising folder?

A4 → DL or A4 → A5 are popular choices. A4 → DL gives a slim format once folded that suits stands and DL envelopes. A4 → A5 provides more room for photographs, a description of the offer and a presentation of services.

Which format should I choose for a menu?

For a menu, A4 → DL, A4 → A5, 30×30 → 15×30, A3 → A4 and A3 → 140×297 all work well. The final choice depends on the number of items, the way they are presented and how much room the content needs.

Which format should I choose for an invitation or voucher?

A5 → A6, 2×A6 → A6 landscape, 30×15 → 15×15, 2×DL → DL landscape and 2×DL → DL portrait all suit well. These are handy formats that go well with decorative papers.

Which decorative papers work best for Prestige folded leaflets?

For light, elegant designs, ICEBLINK, RIVES, MODIGLIANI and CHAGALL all suit well. If you want a pearlescent or metallic effect, choose STARDREAM OPAL, SILVER, GOLD or CRYSTAL. The full list of shades and structures is in the calculator.

How do the three file preparation variants differ?

With No checking the finished artwork goes straight to print. Checking by a graphic designer covers a technical review, including the format, bleed, panel layout and colour, but without checking the content. Simple design is for people who have no finished file - we prepare one from the texts, logo, photographs and guidance sent.
