INES White - product details
INES White - A plastic promotional pen with full-colour digital UV printing. It comes in one light version, so the colour of the whole design comes from the printing rather than the barrel. Choose one-sided or two-sided marking; minimum order 100 pieces, and the artwork is prepared free of charge.
INES White - one light barrel, colour from the print
The INES White is a plastic pen with a light barrel and no colour variants. That is deliberate: the model was conceived so the colour comes from the printing, not from the body underneath.
It has a practical advantage. A light, neutral surface does not compete with your artwork, so the printed colours stay close to what you designed - no shifting caused by the colour of the barrel.
We mark the INES White with full-colour digital UV printing in CMYK. Unlike laser engraving on our metal pens, which is always single-colour, printing keeps a multi-colour logo, gradients and tonal transitions as designed.

Full-colour UV printing
The ink is cured with UV light during printing, so the finished mark handles everyday use and contact with moisture and light, and needs no varnishing afterwards.
One side or two
In the calculator you can choose one-sided or two-sided printing. One side usually covers a logo with the company name; the second is worth taking when you also want a web address, phone number or a short slogan. Two-sided printing costs more and needs two separate designs, one per side.

Prepare finished artwork in colour, in CMYK, at 1:1 scale, with text converted to curves.
No artwork ready? With an order placed with us we prepare it free of charge. E-mail your logo and the text that is to appear on the pen. Our designer will lay it out and send a proof for approval; production starts only once you accept it.

Quantity and ordering

The lead time appears in the calculator once you choose a configuration, counted from your approval of the proof. The first version of the design usually comes within 1-2 working days; each further round of changes adds one working day.

Why does the INES White come in only one colour version?
That is how the manufacturer's offer for this model is set up. The INES was conceived as a light pen where the colour comes from the printing rather than the barrel. If you want a choice of body or trim colours, look at the LIO White or XELO White - the first has ten versions, the second seven.
Can the print be multi-colour?
Yes. We print in full CMYK, so the logo keeps its brand colours - there is no need to simplify it to one tone as engraving would require. Gradients and tonal transitions are possible too.
Does the print rub off?
The ink is cured with UV light during printing, so the finished mark handles normal everyday use and contact with moisture and light, and needs no additional varnish.
Can the INES White be printed on both sides?
Yes. Choose two-sided printing in the calculator. It costs more and needs two separate designs, one for each side.
What are the dimensions of this pen?

My logo only exists as a photograph. Is that enough?
For printing it can be, provided the file is good quality and large enough - printing reproduces raster images, unlike engraving. Send what you have and we will check whether it holds up at the size of the print area.
How should the print file be prepared?
In colour, in CMYK, at 1:1 scale, with text converted to curves. For two-sided printing, prepare two separate designs.
How does this model differ from the EVE?
In shape and in the marking options. The EVE has a triangular cross-section and is available with one-sided printing only. The INES White has a classic round barrel and can be printed on one side or both.

How long does production take?
The lead time appears in the calculator once you choose a configuration, counted from your approval of the proof. If the pens are needed for a specific date, order early or confirm the date with us by e-mail.
Is there an extra charge for the artwork?
No. With an order placed with us we prepare simple artwork free of charge. E-mail your logo and the text for the pen; we will send a proof for approval.
Will I get a proof before production?
Yes. We always send a proof for approval, so you can check the placement and size of the logo and text. Production starts only once you accept it.
Will the pens look the same on a repeat order?
Yes - and that is one advantage of a single colour version. With one barrel version there is one less thing that can differ between batches - you do not have to check which variant was ordered previously.
What colour is the refill?
Blue as standard. If you need a different colour, mention it with your order - we will check availability for this model and confirm before production.
What is the barrel made of?
Plastic, which is why we mark it with full-colour UV printing. Our metal pens are laser engraved instead, and that marking is always single-colour.
