Pendrive Unity - one material, a simple form

The Unity stands out for a casing that looks like a single piece. There are no visible panels, catches or plastic parts breaking up the surface.

Brushed steel gives it a quiet, technical character, and the slim silhouette suits plain visual identities. One end carries the standard USB connector, the other a large round eyelet for a key ring or lanyard.

There is no removable cap, so nothing extra to keep track of in use.

The Unity uses USB 2.0. For documents, presentations, PDF files and typical conference material that is entirely sufficient. If the drive is to handle large video files or extensive archives regularly, consider a faster model.

Unity or UNO?

We also offer the Pendrive UNO, which has a very similar silhouette: a slim metal casing, a large round eyelet and a USB connector without a separate cap. The difference is in the memory.

For documents, presentations and standard conference material the Unity is enough. For large files, video and frequent copying, the UNO with its faster interface is more comfortable.

Conferences and B2B events, carrying presentations, delegate material, the programme and company catalogues; fintech, consulting and law firms, where company material is meant to look ordered and understated; companies with minimalist branding, where a single-colour logo and sparing typography sit well against brushed steel; gift sets, when a metal casing without ornament is the point; and universities and institutions, as a carrier for course and event materials.

Laser engraving

We mark the Unity with laser engraving. The laser works directly on the metal surface, with no added layer of ink. The result is single-colour, durable and suits the matt brushed casing.

On a surface this plain, what works best is:

• a logo,
• a company name,
• a web address,
• a short line of text,
• a simple symbol or mark.

A minimalist casing rarely needs a large design. A small logo placed well usually looks better than an attempt to fill the whole available surface.

Preparing the engraving file

• a vector PDF,
• vector graphics only,
• artwork in black,
• no greyscale,
• no shadows or halftones,
• text converted to curves.

The black elements mark the areas to be engraved.

To check whether a logo is vector, zoom in hard on screen: vector artwork stays sharp at any magnification.

Capacities

• 8 GB - event programme, documents, presentations and contact details,
• 16 GB - a larger set of company and presentation material,
• 32 GB - catalogues, training material and multimedia,
• 64 GB - more extensive file sets.

For typical conference material, 8 or 16 GB is usually enough. If the drive is also to carry film, a larger number of photographs or training material, choose 32 or 64 GB.

No engraving artwork ready? With an order placed with us we prepare a simple design free of charge.

Send your logo, preferably in vector form, along with any text that is to appear on the drive. We will lay it out and send a proof for approval.

The first version usually comes within 1-2 working days; each further round of changes adds one working day. Production starts only once the design is approved.
