What is the minimum order?
We cut small runs and single prototypes on a digital cutter, without making a cutting die, so there is no minimum order. Cost-effectiveness depends on the box size and how many fit on a sheet - we will show it in the quote.
What is the difference between digital cutting and die cutting?
The cutter cuts and creases each sheet from a file, with no tooling - the cheapest option for short runs, prototypes and shape changes. For large runs, die cutting is faster and cheaper per piece; the die is made once and reused for repeat orders.
What is the largest format?
Our flatbed cutter handles sheets up to 600 × 800 mm. The whole box net with flaps and glue tabs comes from one sheet - the finished box size depends on its construction.
I do not have a box design. What can I do?
Use our library of box constructions - just give us the approximate product size (width, depth, height) and the box type. We will choose the construction and prepare a dieline for your artwork.
Can I order a prototype first?
Yes. A prototype is the best way to check that the product fits well and how the board and colours look before you order the whole run.
