9755206 lighters - The best-finished lighter in our range: white body, silver head, piezo ignition and its own 50.0×14.0 mm print area. Personalised with full-colour digital UV printing. It is also the only lighter we offer with a minimum order of 500 pieces.

Lighter 9755206 - careful finish, full-colour print

The name looks odd, but it is not a mistake: 9755206 is the manufacturer's catalogue number. The model was never given a trade name, so it reached our range under that code.

Behind the number is a piezo lighter with a white plastic body and a silver head. It is slightly larger than most of our other models and better finished - the version people choose when the order is larger and the item should look a little more presentable than a basic promotional lighter.

Three things set it apart:

  • Dimensions 80×24 mm - our other lighters measure 77×22 mm or 87×20 mm.
  • Print area 50.0×14.0 mm - most other models use 52.0×13.0 mm. This one is 2 mm shorter and 1 mm taller.
  • Minimum order 500 pieces - every other lighter starts at 100.

That last point usually decides. For 100 or 200 pieces, pick a different model. From 500 upwards, the 9755206 becomes worth considering.

Where it fits

Chains and franchises, where one larger order covers many outlets with identical branding; hotels, clubs and hospitality; large events, where several hundred pieces is not a big number; gifts for clients and partners; and season-long campaigns, where a single larger run replaces repeated small top-ups.

Full-colour digital UV printing

We mark the 9755206 with digital UV printing in UV LED technology. Artwork is printed straight onto the body in CMYK, so the design need not be limited to one or two colours.

You can use:

  • multi-colour logos,
  • photographs,
  • gradients,
  • tonal transitions,
  • shading,
  • more elaborate graphics.

No plates, moulds or screens are prepared - once the file is ready, it goes to the press.

The ink is cured with UV light during printing. The finished mark handles everyday use and contact with water, moisture and light, with no varnishing or extra drying. UV LED also limits how much the item heats up compared with traditional UV lamps.

We print on Japanese machines built for precise marking of small items; the fine ink drop keeps detail legible even on a small surface. Keep type size sensible all the same - very small letters are technically printable, but they still have to be read afterwards. Give an address, phone number or web address a little more room.

One side or two?

In the calculator:

  • UV printing, one side,
  • UV printing, two sides.

The surcharge for two sides appears in the quote automatically. Two-sided marking helps when you do not want to squeeze everything into one field - a logo on one side, a web address, phone number or short slogan on the other.

Prepare two separate files, one per side.

Print area - 50.0×14.0 mm

This model has a different marking field from most of our lighters. The recommended area is 50.0×14.0 mm, where the others usually take 52.0×13.0 mm.

The difference looks minor, but on a surface this small two millimetres matter. Do not move artwork prepared for 52.0×13.0 mm onto the 9755206 unchanged. Usually light rescaling and a tidy-up of the layout is enough - and we can do that for you as part of the free design service.

Preparing the print file

  • scale 1:1,
  • PDF or TIF,
  • CMYK,
  • 600 dpi for raster elements,
  • text converted to curves,
  • artwork fitted to the 50.0×14.0 mm field.

Two-sided printing needs two separate files.

Check phone numbers, web and postal addresses once more before sending. On screen a correction takes a moment; after the run is printed it is too late.

Free graphic design

No artwork ready? With an order for printed lighters we prepare a simple design free of charge. First version usually within 1-2 working days; each further round of changes adds one working day.

Send:

  • your logo, preferably vector,
  • a CDR file up to X6, EPS or AI up to CS6,
  • or a TIF or good-quality JPG if you have no vector,
  • all the text that is to appear on the lighter.

We send the design for approval and start production once the proof is accepted.

Specification and safety

  • ignition: piezo,
  • dimensions: 80×24 mm,
  • body: white plastic,
  • head / clip: silver,
  • recommended marking area: 50.0×14.0 mm,
  • personalisation: full-colour UV printing, one or two sides.

Like the rest of our lighters, the 9755206 has a child-resistant mechanism to EN 13869 and meets ISO 9994:2006.

Quantity, price and lead time

Available steps: 500 pieces, 1000 pieces, 2000 pieces. The minimum order is 500 pieces - the only lighter in our range with such a threshold; the others start at 100.

The unit price drops as the quantity grows. The calculator gives the exact quote once you choose the quantity and the marking option, and shows the current lead time in the same place.

Production time counts from your approval of the production proof. If the lighters are needed for a set date, allow time for the design and any corrections as well.

FAQ

9755206 lighters - questions and answers

Need help? Contact us

Why is the model called 9755206?

It is simply the catalogue number given by the manufacturer. The model has no separate trade name, so we kept the original code. When contacting us, quote 9755206 and we will know which lighter you mean.

How does the 9755206 differ from your other lighters?

Mainly in dimensions, print area and minimum order. It measures 80×24 mm, where the others are 77×22 mm or 87×20 mm. The marking area is 50.0×14.0 mm rather than the 52.0×13.0 mm common to the rest. The minimum order starts at 500 pieces, while the other lighters are available from 100. It is also the best-finished lighter in our range.

Why is the minimum order as high as 500 pieces?

That threshold comes from the supplier's pricing for this particular model. Available runs are 500, 1000 and 2000 pieces. If you need fewer, check the other models in the calculator - there the minimum starts at 100 pieces.

Can I order fewer than 500 pieces?

Not for the 9755206. The calculator starts at 500 pieces and no smaller run is possible. If you need 100, 200 or 300 lighters, choose one of the other models - the artwork and printing process are very similar.

What are the dimensions of the 9755206?

The body measures 80×24 mm, so it is a little larger than the EB-15 and SM-3 at 77×22 mm. You can see and feel the difference in the hand, but it is still a standard pocket lighter. The body is white and the head silver.

What is the print area and how does it differ from other models?

The recommended marking area is 50.0×14.0 mm, against 52.0×13.0 mm on many of our other lighters - slightly shorter and slightly taller. For a logo alone the difference is small. Once the artwork carries several lines of text, a phone number and a web address, those proportions start to matter. The design runs horizontally along the body.

Can I use artwork prepared for another lighter?

Yes, but it usually needs adjusting first. A design made for 52.0×13.0 mm should not go unchanged into a 50.0×14.0 mm field. Light rescaling and a tidy-up of the layout is normally enough. If you would rather not do it yourself, we can prepare the layout free of charge with your order.

How does ignition work on this model?

The 9755206 is a piezo lighter: the spark comes from pressing the button, with no flint wheel to roll. The same type of ignition is used in the EB-15 family and the SM-3. If you want a traditional wheel, look at the NM-1.

What printing technology do you use?

Full-colour digital UV printing in UV LED technology. Artwork goes straight onto the body in CMYK, so multi-colour logos, photographs, gradients, shading and tonal transitions are all possible. No separate plates, screens or printing forms are needed.

Does the print stand up to daily use?

The ink is cured with UV light during printing, so the finished marking copes with normal everyday use and with water, moisture and light. It needs no varnish and no drying afterwards.

Will small text be legible on such a small field?

The process prints very precise elements, but it is not worth shrinking them too far. On screen small text can look fine when zoomed in; on the finished lighter it has to be read without a magnifier. For phone numbers, addresses and web addresses in particular, use slightly larger letters and leave more space around them.

When is two-sided printing worth it?

Mainly when you have more information and do not want it all on one side. You can print the logo on the front and put a web address, phone number or short slogan on the back. In the calculator choose "UV printing, two sides" - the price updates automatically. Production then needs two separate files.

How should the print file be prepared?

At 1:1 scale, as a PDF or TIF, in CMYK. For raster graphics we recommend 600 dpi, with all text converted to curves. Remember this model's own field of 50.0×14.0 mm. Two-sided printing needs two separate files. Please check all details and wording before sending.

I have no design - will you prepare one?

Yes. For lighters ordered with us, a simple marking design is free of charge. You will normally have the first version within 1-2 working days, and each later round of changes adds one working day. Send the logo in vector form: CDR up to X6, EPS or AI up to CS6. If you have no such file, a TIF or good-quality JPG will do. Include all the text that is to appear on the lighter.

Where do I find the price and lead time?

Both appear in the calculator once you choose the quantity and the printing option. The unit price depends among other things on how many pieces you order. We count the lead time from your approval of the production proof, not from placing the order. If the lighters must be ready for a specific date, order well in advance or confirm the date with us by e-mail.
