EB-15 lighters - product details
EB-15 lighters - White body, white head, piezo ignition and full-colour UV printing. It is the entry version of the EB-15 family, without extra functions. Print area 52.0×13.0 mm; the white surface keeps the artwork colours true. Refillable with gas. Minimum order 100 pieces.
EB-15 lighter - classic shape, clean background for print
The EB-15 uses piezo ignition: press the button, the piezo element makes a spark and lights the gas. There is no wheel and no flint.
The body is white plastic and the head is white as well, so the whole lighter works as a neutral background for colour artwork. That matters in CMYK printing, especially when the logo uses several colours, soft tonal transitions or a photograph.
The lighter measures 77×22 mm and the recommended print area is 52.0×13.0 mm.
If you do not need extra functions, the EB-15 is the natural starting point. It is the base version in the family - no torch, no opener, no coloured head. The other variants:
- EB-15 COLOUR - coloured head,
- EB-15 LED - with a torch,
- EB-15 OPENER - with a bottle opener.
Each has its own page and calculator, so prices are easy to compare. Dimensions and print area are identical across the family, so one design fits every variant.
Refillable
The EB-15 has a refill valve. When the gas runs out, top it up with standard lighter gas and keep using it.
This is one of the differences from the NM-1 and NM-1 OPENER, which use flint ignition and have no refill valve.
Where it fits
Bars, pubs and restaurants; trade fairs and conferences; concerts and outdoor events; shops and points of sale; customer parcels and gift sets; field teams in transport, construction or service work.
It is small, cheap to produce in quantity and useful enough that people keep it - which is the point of a branded giveaway.
Full-colour digital UV printing
We mark EB-15 lighters with digital UV printing in UV LED technology. Artwork goes straight onto the white body in full CMYK - there is no need to reduce the design to one or two colours.
We can print:
- multi-colour logos,
- gradients,
- tonal transitions,
- shading,
- photographs,
- more complex graphics.
No plates, moulds or screens are involved. Once the file is prepared, it goes straight to the press.
The ink is cured with UV light during production, so the finished print handles everyday use and contact with water, moisture and light. No varnishing, no long drying. UV LED also limits how much the item heats up while printing.
We print on Japanese machines built for precise marking of small surfaces. Fine detail reproduces well, but do not push type down to the minimum: a phone number can technically be printed very small, and then nobody can read it. Leave contact details a little more room.
One side or two?
Two options in the calculator:
- UV printing, one side,
- UV printing, two sides.
One side is usually enough for a logo and a short line of text. Use the second side for a web address, phone number, company details, a QR code or an extra slogan.
Two-sided printing costs more - the difference shows in the calculator. Prepare two separate files, one per side.
Print area 52.0×13.0 mm
The recommended marking area is 52.0×13.0 mm - a horizontal strip running along the body, covering a good part of its side.
It holds a logo, a short slogan and a small block of contact details. With a busier design, watch the hierarchy: if everything is equally small, the whole thing stops being readable. Two-sided printing makes it easier to split content - logo on one side, contact details on the other.
Preparing the print file
- scale 1:1,
- PDF or TIF,
- CMYK,
- 600 dpi for raster graphics,
- text converted to curves,
- within the 52.0×13.0 mm area.
For two-sided printing, prepare two separate files.
Read every line once more before sending. A typo in a phone number costs nothing to fix on screen and a great deal after the full run is printed.
Free graphic design
No artwork ready? With an order placed with us we prepare a simple design free of charge. Send:
- your logo, preferably vector,
- a CDR file up to X6, EPS or AI up to CS6,
- or a TIF or good-quality JPG if you have no vector,
- all the text that is to appear on the lighter.
We usually deliver the first version within 1-2 working days; each further round of changes adds one working day. Production starts once you approve the proof.

Minimum order 100 pieces. Steps: 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 1000 and 2000 pieces. The unit price drops as the quantity grows; the calculator gives the exact quote once you pick the quantity and the type of marking, and shows the current lead time in the same place.
Production time counts from the moment you approve the proof of the production file. If the lighters are for a specific event, leave time for the design and any corrections.
EB-15 lighters - questions and answers
Need help? Contact us
How does the EB-15 differ from the other versions in the family?
The EB-15 is the base version: white body, white head, no extra features. The EB-15 COLOUR has a head in one of five colours, the EB-15 LED has a torch, and the EB-15 OPENER has a bottle opener. Dimensions and print area are the same, so artwork prepared for the EB-15 works on every variant.
How does piezo ignition work?
Press the button. The piezo element inside makes a spark that lights the gas. There is no wheel to roll and no flint. Operation comes down to one button.
Can the EB-15 be refilled with gas?
Yes. The model has a valve, so once the gas runs out you can top it up with standard lighter gas. This is where the EB-15 differs from the NM-1 and NM-1 OPENER, which have no valve.
What are the dimensions and how much room is left for printing?
The lighter measures 77×22 mm. The recommended print area is 52.0×13.0 mm, running horizontally along the body. One side holds a logo, a slogan and a little extra text. If you have more to say, use two-sided printing.
Can the body be a colour other than white?
The printing surface on our lighters is white. A white base suits CMYK printing because it does not shift the colours of the design. If you want a colour accent, look at the EB-15 COLOUR - the body stays white, but the head comes in one of five colours.
How does the EB-15 differ from the NM-1?
Mainly the ignition. The EB-15 is piezo, fired by a button, and can be refilled. The NM-1 uses a classic wheel-and-flint mechanism and has no valve. The dimensions differ too: the EB-15 is 77×22 mm, the NM-1 is longer and narrower. The print area is 52.0×13.0 mm on both.
And how does it differ from the SM-3?
Both have piezo ignition, measure 77×22 mm, share the 52.0×13.0 mm print area and can be refilled. The difference is the look and finish: the EB-15 has a classic shape and is the base model of its family, while the SM-3 has a more contemporary design. If you are torn between them, compare the photos and the current price in each calculator.
Is the lighter child-resistant?
Yes. The EB-15 meets EN 13869, which covers child-resistant mechanisms, and the ISO 9994:2006 quality standard. Both apply to every lighter in our range.
What printing method do you use?
Digital UV printing in UV LED technology. Artwork is printed straight onto the body in full CMYK, with no separate plates, moulds or screens. That is why the design can use many colours, gradients, photographs and tonal transitions.
Does the print survive being carried in a pocket?
The ink is cured with UV light during printing. The finished marking handles everyday use and contact with water, moisture and light, and needs no varnish or drying afterwards.
How many colours can the design have? Can you print a photograph?
Yes. We print in full CMYK, so the number of colours is not limited the way it is in some traditional marking methods. Gradients, shading, tonal transitions and photographs all work, provided the source file is good quality. Bear in mind the surface is only 52.0×13.0 mm - the more complex the artwork, the easier it is to lose legibility once scaled down.
One side or two - which should I choose?
If you only need a logo and a short slogan, one side is usually enough. Two sides help when you also want a web address, phone number, QR code or an extra note. In the calculator choose "UV printing, one side" or "UV printing, two sides". Two sides need two separate files.
How should the print file be prepared?
At 1:1 scale, as a PDF or TIF, in CMYK. For raster elements we recommend 600 dpi, and all text should be converted to curves. The print area is 52.0×13.0 mm. For two-sided printing, prepare two separate files.
I have no artwork - can you help?
Yes. With an order placed with us we prepare a simple design free of charge. Send your logo, preferably vector: CDR up to X6, EPS or AI up to CS6. If you have no such file, a TIF or good-quality JPG will do. Include all the text that is to appear on the lighter. We prepare the first version within 1-2 working days, and each further round of changes adds one working day.
What is the minimum order and when will I know the lead time?
The minimum order is 100 pieces. The next steps are 200, 300, 400, 500, 1000 and 2000 pieces. The unit price drops as the quantity grows. The calculator gives the exact price and the current lead time. We count the lead time from your approval of the production proof. If you need the order for a specific date, place it early or confirm the date with us by e-mail.
