Touch Pen KENO - product details
Touch Pen KENO - A metal pen with a tip for operating touchscreens and two separate engraving fields: 50.0×5.0 mm on the lower part of the barrel and 40.0×5.0 mm on the upper. Available in eight colours, including two shades of blue. Marked with laser engraving on one side or both. Minimum order 100 pieces.
Touch Pen KENO - two engraving fields and a touchscreen tip
The Touch Pen KENO is 139 mm long and 9 mm across. A metal ring divides the barrel into two areas for marking: 50.0×5.0 mm at the bottom and 40.0×5.0 mm at the top.
That split is the point of this model. Instead of squeezing everything into one field, you can put a logo with the company name on the lower part and a web address or a short line on the upper - each with room to be read.
The pen also has a tip for operating touchscreens, so it covers a signature on paper and a screen at a payment terminal alike. Eight barrel colours are available, including two shades of blue.
Where it works
- Designs that split in two - a logo below, contact details above.
- Field and mobile work - one pen for paper and for a screen.
- Retail and service points - useful wherever customers sign on a terminal.
- Conferences and training - handed out with the materials and usually kept afterwards.
- Matching a corporate colour - eight versions, with two blues among them.
Laser engraving
The laser removes the top layer of the surface and exposes the lighter metal beneath. Nothing is applied on top, so there is no ink to peel or rub away - the mark is part of the barrel and lasts as long as the pen.
Engraving is single-colour: the laser exposes metal rather than printing colour, so a multi-colour logo appears in one tone. On darker barrels the contrast is stronger; on light ones the effect is quieter.
One side or two
In the calculator, under "Marking", choose "One-sided engraving" or "Two-sided engraving". The KENO already gives two fields on one side, which often covers everything. Two-sided engraving adds room when you want still more separation. The two-sided version costs more; the difference shows in the calculator.
The engraving file and free design work
Send finished artwork as a vector PDF in black only, with text converted to curves. Everything black will be engraved. Avoid photographs and greyscale - engraving does not reproduce halftones.
No artwork ready? With an order placed with us we prepare it free of charge. E-mail your logo and the text for the pen; our designer will lay it out across both fields and send a proof for approval.

Touch Pen KENO - questions and answers
Need help? Contact us
What colours is the Touch Pen KENO available in?
Eight versions, including two shades of blue. The current choice is shown in the calculator on this page.
Which of your pens with a stylus tip has the most colours?
The Touch Pen BELLO, with thirteen solid colours. The KENO comes in eight, but it is the one with two separate engraving fields.
What is the difference between blue and light blue?
They are two separate shades from the manufacturer's palette. If you are matching the pen to a specific corporate colour, write to us before ordering and we will help judge which comes closer to your reference.
What is the tip at the other end of the pen for?
For operating touchscreens instead of a fingertip - a phone, tablet or payment terminal.
Does the tip work on every screen?
It is designed for the touchscreens found on phones, tablets and payment terminals.
What are the dimensions of the KENO?
139 mm long and 9 mm across. A metal ring divides the barrel into two marking areas: 50.0×5.0 mm at the bottom and 40.0×5.0 mm at the top.
How large is the engraving field?
The KENO has not one field but two: 50.0×5.0 mm on the lower part and 40.0×5.0 mm on the upper, separated by a metal ring. That lets you split the content across two places - a logo with the company name below, a web address or short slogan above.
Does the engraving look the same on every colour?
The shape is the same, but the contrast is not. On darker barrels the light trace of exposed metal stands out strongly; on light shades the mark is quieter. We prepare the proof for the colour you have chosen, so you will see the effect before production.
Does the engraving rub off?
No. It is not a print or an added layer: the laser removes part of the surface and exposes the metal, so the mark becomes part of the barrel. Water will not wash it off and everyday carrying will not wear it away.
Can it be engraved on both sides?
Yes. The KENO already offers two fields on one side, which often covers everything; two-sided engraving adds room when you want still more separation. The two-sided version costs more; the difference shows in the calculator.
What is the minimum order?
100 pieces, in multiples of 50. The price steps in the calculator are 100, 200, 300, 500, 1000 and 2000 pieces.
How long does production take?
The lead time appears in the calculator once you choose a configuration, counted from your approval of the proof. If the pens are needed for a specific date, order early or confirm the date with us by e-mail.
Is the artwork chargeable?
No. With an order placed with us we prepare simple artwork free of charge. E-mail your logo and the text for the pen; our designer will lay it out across both fields and send a proof for approval.
How should the engraving file be prepared?
As a vector PDF in black only, with text converted to curves. Everything black will be engraved. Avoid photographs and greyscale - halftones cannot be reproduced. If you only have a JPG or PNG, send it as well and we will check whether it can be used. If the logo has to be redrawn as vector artwork, that is a separate, paid service quoted individually. The pen artwork itself - arranging the logo and text in the marking field - stays free of charge.
What colour is the refill?
Blue as standard. If you need a different colour, mention it with your order - we will check availability for this model and confirm before production.
What is the barrel made of?
Metal, which is why we mark it with a laser. Our plastic models are marked with full-colour UV printing instead.
