Elegant table presenter - The elegant table talker is a standing piece of advertising with two surfaces for your message. You put it on a table, a counter, a reception desk or a worktop and show customers the menu, the offer of the day, a promotion or a QR code without handing out extra leaflets. It comes in the **2×176×200 mm** format, made from **Arktika GC1 300 gsm** board, with full-colour printing and lamination as standard. Gloss, matte or soft-touch film is available. The price of the version you choose appears straight away in the calculator above.

The table talker stands exactly where your customer or guest is: on the table in a restaurant, at the bar, on the sales counter or at reception. It has two visible advertising surfaces, so the message can be read from both sides. The customer does not have to ask the staff about the current promotion or an extra offer, because the information is right in front of them.

It is a convenient way of presenting the menu of the day, a seasonal suggestion, a QR code, a promotion or a short message at exactly the moment when a guest is waiting for their order, sitting at the table or coming up to the counter.

The table talker works in restaurants, cafés, bars, hotels and guesthouses, but its uses are not limited to food service. You can also stand it in a beauty salon, a clinic, a shop, a showroom, a customer service point, a sales office or on a trade fair stand. Instead of yet another loose leaflet you get a standing piece of material that stays in view all the time.

What you can use the elegant table talker for

The table talker can inform, advertise and support sales at the same time. It all depends on the message you put on its two surfaces.

  • A menu or table card - a seasonal or lunch menu, a cocktail list, a dessert card or the dish of the day. The guest sees the offer at once, without having to ask for another card.
  • The offer of the day and promotions - a set lunch, happy hours, a weekend promotion, the cocktail of the month, a new dessert or a seasonal coffee. The message stands right in front of the customer.
  • A QR code - it can lead to the menu online, a booking or ordering system, Google reviews, social media or a loyalty scheme.
  • Hotel information - breakfast hours, the hotel restaurant's offer, room service, the spa and wellness area, a QR code to the guest panel or extra services.
  • Reception and counter - practical notices, a short price list, the current offer or an invitation to an event.
  • Service salons - treatment packages, the promotion of the month, a referral scheme, a QR code for booking online or news of a new service.

In a restaurant the table talker can promote the dish of the day, the wine list or an event at the venue. In a hotel it can tell guests about breakfast, the spa and extra services. In a salon or service point it can show selected packages, promotions or a short price list. The same format is therefore easy to adapt to very different trades.

The table talker format

The table talker comes in one format:

  • 2×176×200 mm - two advertising surfaces measuring 176×200 mm, which form a standing structure once folded.

Two sides give plenty of scope. You can use the same design on both surfaces so the message is visible from either side of the table, or use each one differently.

One side can carry a promotion and the other a QR code leading to the full menu. You can also combine a seasonal offer with news of an event, a loyalty scheme with a product advert, or prepare one side in Polish and the other in English.

The table talker stands upright and is usually seen from some distance. The design should therefore be simple, with the most important information visible at once.

Arktika GC1 300 gsm board

We make the table talker from one carefully chosen board:

  • Arktika GC1 300 gsm - a stiff, attractive board that holds the shape of a standing piece well.

On a table talker, stiffness matters in practice. The material should keep its form standing on a table or counter and still look good after a long spell on display.

Arktika GC1 300 gsm gives a solid, tidy impression and works in restaurants, hotels, cafés, bars, service salons, receptions and points of sale. It is a more distinguished answer than an ordinary sheet propped on a table or a loose leaflet.

Printing and finishing

The table talker has single-sided printing in full colour on the surfaces that are visible to the viewer once it is folded.

The design can carry photographs, artwork, a logo, text, prices, icons, QR codes and the other elements of your visual identity. With two surfaces it matters especially that the layout is thought through, so that each of them reads on its own.

A customer usually looks at a table talker for a brief moment, sitting at the table, standing at the counter or waiting to be served. So a short headline, a legible price or offer and one clear message work better than trying to fit in a lot of text.

Lamination is a standard part of the finish. You choose one of three versions:

  • Gloss lamination - strengthens colours and contrast. It suits product photographs, vivid artwork, colourful backgrounds and adverts for drinks, desserts or events.
  • Matte lamination - gives a calmer, elegant, modern look. It works in restaurants, hotels, cafés, receptions and other places with a more restrained style.
  • Soft-touch lamination - creates a soft surface that is pleasant to the touch. It suits boutique hotels, restaurants, spas, beauty salons, clinics and brands with a more exclusive character.

The table talker is a working item. It gets moved and handled and may stand on a table or counter for a long time. In more representative interiors, matte and soft-touch film work particularly well. You will find the exact prices for each version in the calculator above.

What to put on the table talker

The two surfaces can be used for different kinds of content:

  • The identity of the venue or company - the logo and the name of the restaurant, café, hotel or brand.
  • The offer - a seasonal or lunch menu, a cocktail or dessert list, the promotion of the day, a special offer, a product advert or news of an event.
  • QR codes - leading to the menu online, bookings, ordering or Google reviews.
  • Details and extra information - social media, contact details, a short line, instructions for guests, information about the spa, room service, a loyalty scheme or a current event.

Short, specific messages work best on a table talker. A lot of small text makes the information harder to take in quickly. A clear headline, one main message, simple artwork and a legible QR code that can lead the customer to the full offer if needed work better.

File check and graphic design

When you place the order you choose one of the design preparation options:

  • No file check - for agencies, designers and anyone confident their design is technically correct. The file goes into production without further control.
  • File check by a designer - we check the format, bleed, safe distances, image quality, colours, how the file was saved and whether the design meets our technical requirements. On a table talker we also check the layout of the two advertising surfaces, the folding and creasing lines, the orientation of the design, whether important elements are set back from the edges and the folds, and correct preparation for single-sided printing.
  • Simple graphic design - if you have no design of your own, send us your logo, the text, the offer, prices, contact details, a QR code, photographs and your basic guidelines on style. We will prepare a simple design matched to the table talker format, the board, the printing and the film you chose.

The technical check is worth choosing especially if the design was made in Canva, an online generator, an office program, a presentation app or with AI tools. Such files can look correct on screen and still need the format, bleed, fold lines, CMYK, resolution or safe margins adjusted.

On a table talker the position of the content in relation to the folds matters especially. A logo, text, a price or a QR code placed too close to a crease line can end up somewhere awkward once folded and become less legible.

The technical check does not cover the content. We do not check typos, prices, numbers, discount codes, dates, terms, contact details, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, tax and registration numbers, account numbers, whether the QR codes work, or whether the information matches your offer or the regulations. The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the content.

How to prepare the file for print

  • File format - a PDF that follows our specification is best. In selected cases we also accept good quality JPG and PNG files.
  • Resolution and colours - prepare photographs and raster artwork at 300 dpi at 1:1 scale. The whole design should be saved in CMYK.
  • Bleed and safe margins - if artwork runs to the edge, add the right amount of bleed. Move the logo, text, prices, QR code, contact details, photographs and slogans away both from the edges and from the fold lines.
  • The template and the two surfaces - it is best to use the product specification or template. The design has to allow for the two advertising surfaces, the direction they face, the crease lines, the folds and how the finished table talker will look once it is standing on a table.
  • Legibility from a distance - use clear headlines, short text and prices that are easy to see. The QR code should be large enough and high in contrast. If there is a lot of information, you can split it between the two surfaces or move some of the detail to the page behind the code.

Before sending the design, check all the content, the prices, the dates of promotions, that the QR codes work, the contact details, the names of services and the website address. Our site also has a separate section on preparing files and the mistakes best avoided.
