Colour USB drive - product details
Colour USB drive - A drive with a coloured body and a white swivel cover over the connector. Three colours to choose from - white, black and blue - with USB 2.0 or USB 3.2 gen.1 and capacities from 8 to 256 GB. Personalised with full-colour UV printing, so the casing can carry a logo, artwork, a gradient or even a photograph. A practical model for welcome packs, company materials, conferences, trade fairs and campaigns where the colour of the item should match the brand.
Pendrive Colour - colour as part of the branding
Sometimes one small detail is enough to make an ordinary item fit the rest of a brand's communication. On the Pendrive Colour, that detail is the colour of the body.
Choose white, black or blue, then add your own print. With the right artwork the drive can pick up your company colours, a particular product or the theme of an event.
The model comes with USB 2.0 and with the faster USB 3.2 gen.1, so it is easy to match to the job. For a few documents and a presentation, the fastest version is not always needed; with video and larger data libraries the difference becomes far more noticeable.

Personalisation - full-colour UV printing
We mark the Pendrive Colour with digital UV printing in CMYK.
The technology is not limited to a simple one-colour logo: richer graphics, gradients, tonal transitions and photographs all work, provided the source material is good quality.
The ink is cured with UV light during printing, so the finished mark handles daily use and contact with moisture and light.
On a coloured body the artwork itself matters too. On a white surface most colours read very clearly; on a dark body we adapt how the print is prepared, so the logo keeps enough contrast and saturation.
USB 2.0 or USB 3.2 gen.1?
USB 2.0 is a good choice for documents, PDF presentations, catalogues and other relatively small files. On larger event runs it also keeps the cost of the drive down.
USB 3.2 gen.1 runs on a bus supporting up to 5 Gb/s, worth considering for video, larger multimedia catalogues or data sets over 1 GB.
Actual speed depends on the memory used, its capacity and the device the drive is connected to.

No artwork ready? With an order placed with us we prepare simple print artwork free of charge.
Send your logo, ideally as a vector file, along with any text that is to appear on the casing. We will lay it out and send it for approval.
The first version usually comes within 1-2 working days; each further round of changes adds one working day. Production starts only once the design is approved.

Can I order the drive in the exact Pantone colour of my brand?
No. The bodies are produced in a standard colour range, and on this model we do not make the casing to a specific Pantone number. You can choose from the available versions: white, black and blue. Tell us your brand colour and we can suggest which of them fits your identity best. The printing itself is digital, in CMYK - if your brand book gives a Pantone colour, you can pass on its number as a reference when the artwork is prepared.
Will colour printing be legible on a coloured body?
Yes, though the result depends on the colour of the body and on the artwork. On a white body the printed colours are usually very clear. On black or another darker surface, contrast and the way the graphic is prepared matter especially. You will get a proof before production, so the size, position and legibility of the marking can be checked.
Which capacities are available?
The Pendrive Colour comes in 8, 16, 32, 64, 128 and 256 GB. For presentations, documents and a small amount of multimedia, 8-16 GB is often enough. For catalogues with video or larger media libraries, consider 32, 64 GB or more.
What is the minimum order?
The minimum order is 50 pieces. The calculator shows the current price and lead time for your chosen capacity, interface and other options. We count the lead time from the start of production - that is, once the correct materials are in, the design is approved and payment is recorded.
