Pendrive Cube - small, flat and capless

The name can mislead: this drive is nothing like a cube. It is small and flat, and its defining feature is a rotating aluminium cover.

Slide the cover away from the body and the USB plug comes out. Push it back after use. There is no separate cap to leave on a desk, drop into a pocket and hunt for later.

At the end of the casing there is a ring, so the drive can be clipped to keys, a lanyard or a fob - a practical detail on something this small.

The Cube comes in six colours: black, red, blue, orange, silver and green. Colour and capacity are chosen in the calculator.

Where it fits

Trade fairs and conferences The small format takes up little room in a pack of materials. The drive can go with a badge or lanyard, or be handed over with a catalogue or presentation.

Welcome packs for clients and staff The memory can carry welcome material, presentations, terms, instructions and the basic documents needed at the start of working together.

Sales meetings A Cube can hold an offer, case studies, a product catalogue, price lists and the contact details of whoever ran the meeting.

Technology gifts An aluminium casing and a plain build suit technology, IT and SaaS companies - and equally anywhere a small, practical branded drive is needed.

Aluminium casing in six colours

The Pendrive Cube is made of aluminium. Available colours:

• black,
• red,
• blue,
• orange,
• silver,
• green.

Worth thinking about engraving when choosing. The laser removes the outer layer of the surface at the marked spot and reveals lighter metal underneath, so the logo usually shows best on darker colours. On a silver body the effect is much more subtle.

Personalisation - laser engraving

We mark the Cube with laser engraving.

This is not ink applied to the surface. The laser works directly in the finish layer of the aluminium, exposing the lighter metal beneath. As a result the engraving:

• is single-colour,
• stands up well to daily use,
• adds no extra layer of ink,
• suits simple logos and short lines of text.

You will get the strongest contrast on black, blue or another darker background. On light and silver casings the mark is quieter.

Capacity - match it to your files

• 8 GB - presentations, PDF documents and basic company material,
• 16 GB - larger offer packs, photographs and a few short films,
• 32 GB - product catalogues, training material and larger multimedia sets,
• 64 GB - extensive archives, photo and video libraries and documentation.

There is no need to take the largest version in reserve. For a typical sales presentation or a set of documents, 8 or 16 GB is often enough. With more film and photography, 32 or 64 GB works better.

USB 2.0

The Cube comes with a USB 2.0 interface only.

For documents, presentations, PDF catalogues, spreadsheets and typical conference material that standard is entirely sufficient.

If the drive is to be used regularly for moving very large files, consider one of the models available with USB 3.2 gen.1.

Preparing the engraving file

Engraving needs vector artwork:

• a vector PDF,
• vector graphics only,
• artwork in black,
• all text converted to curves.

The black elements mark the areas to be engraved.

Free graphic design

No engraving file ready? We will prepare a simple design free of charge with an order placed with us.

Send your logo, preferably in vector form, along with any text that is to appear on the drive.

The first version usually comes within 1-2 working days; each further round of changes adds one working day.

You will receive a proof before production, and only once it is approved do we mark the full run.

The proof is prepared by a designer who matches the marking layout to the technique you chose - we have over 25 years of experience in printing and promotional products.
