Stickers & labels - guide

Stickers and labels - a simple way to mark a product

A sticker is one of the simplest ways to add a logo, information or artwork to a finished product or package. It does not call for changing the whole box or ordering a separate print on every package. We print stickers on sheets, in full colour, on three materials.

Materials

  • White self-adhesive paper - the most economical, for indoor use and on packaging.
  • White self-adhesive film - better against moisture and rubbing, good where the sticker has to last longer.
  • Self-adhesive kraft (eco) - a natural, slightly rough texture, for brands going for an ecological look.

Shapes and how they are cut

  • Squares and rectangles - from 65 × 65 mm up to A5, cut into individual pieces.
  • Circles - from 25 to 160 mm across, kiss-cut on the sheet.
  • Kiss-cutting - only the top layer is cut through, the backing stays whole.

Lead time

Typically 2-5 working days from the start of production, depending on the product. The calculator on the product page shows the exact lead time for the options you pick - finishing or personalisation can extend it. Production starts once we have everything: a correct file, your approval of the proof where required, the payment recorded, and for disc replication and duplication the source material delivered.

What do you print stickers on?

There are three materials to choose from: white self-adhesive paper (the most economical), white self-adhesive film (better against moisture and rubbing) and self-adhesive kraft with a natural, slightly rough texture.

What sticker shapes are available?

Squares and rectangles - from 65 × 65 mm up to A5, cut to size. Circles - from 25 to 160 mm across, kiss-cut on the sheet. You pick the format in the calculator.

What is the difference between cutting and kiss-cutting?

Cutting separates the sheet into individual stickers - we use it for squares and rectangles. Kiss-cutting only goes through the top layer and leaves the backing whole, so the stickers peel off the sheet one by one - that is how we make circles and shapes.

Are the stickers suitable for outdoor use?

Stickers on white film handle moisture and rubbing far better than paper ones, so they work where splashes are likely. For permanent outdoor marking write to info@promedia.pl - we will match the solution to the specific use.
